What will your donation be put towards?
£17.50
will buy a manual resuscitator used to provide respiratory support to the
distressed or non-breathing patient
£120 will buy a bag capable of carrying all of the equipment required to save lives. This bag is strong, durable, waterproof and has reflective stripes to help us be seen at night
£1800 will buy the latest Automatic External Defibrillator. If used within the first five minutes of cardiac arrest, the defib can improve the chance of survival from 5 to 80%!
East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust do not provide funding for the equipment we use, but they do provide the training and further support to the volunteers of the Charity.
Therefore, the Charity is constantly looking for funds from the public, local businesses and organisations to allow us to expand and increase our knowledge and skill base. All of our team give up their time to commit to train and be on call as volunteers, and receive no payment such as wages or expenses for fuel costs.
You can make donations to the Amber Valley First Responders for whatever amount you would like because every penny counts towards saving lives of the people of Amber Valley... maybe even someone you know.
